Our buddies over at Teextile are up and running with their 1 shirt/1 design each day of the week program. Basically how it works – anybody can submit a t-shirt design and any member of the site (free to be a member) can vote on the designs. Each day of the week (Monday thru Friday) they pick a new design to print and sell for 24 hours.

They sell each shirt for $15 bucks – yeah, when was the last time you were in a store and saw a cool, original t-shirt for $15 smackers!?

They split the profit with the designer ($4 bucks per shirt sold) and you get an awesome, one-of-a-kind t-shirt that all your silly little friends will be jealous of.

Pretty cool, eh?

And get this – if you click on this link to Teextile – register as a member, you’ll get free shipping. That’s $5 dollars off – so yeah, the t-shirt really does end up only costing you $15 bucks. That’s like 1 movie ticket these days, not including popcorn. Yeah, we just went to see Watchmen (awesome) and tickets were $10! Give me a break – I remember when movies were $5 – not matinees either. Does that date me?

Anyways – so this week Teextile has some rad (yes, that’s twice in the past week I’ve used rad) designs lined up to be sold for 24 hours a piece.

Monday

I’m not usually a gas mask type of guy – but I really dig the placement and the colors on this design. The clock is ticking on the ‘Foxhole’ T-shirt…

Tuesday

This one is called “Skulls are still Kool!” And again, I think the skull theme might be on the verge of being played out on t-shirts, but this one kind of pulls it off. The neon and the cool details in the image do it for me.

Wednesday

This one is called “Pixel Monsters” and if I had my choice of t-shirts this week, this would probably be it, though I also really like Thursdays and Fridays as well.

Thursday

So Thursday’s T-Shirt is called “Wrath” and I like the little tree dude on fire thing. It’s different.

Friday

This t-shirt – called “Fire Song” is my second favorite of the week. I just really like the style and I don’t actually own any purple t-shirts, so I have to add it to my collection. One of my college girlfriends had a book called “When I am an Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple” – I might need to follow that advice.

So there you have it – Teextile’s line up for this week. Some good stuff. Even if you aren’t going to buy a t-shirt, you should head over there and register as a member so that you have some fun and vote on upcoming t-shirts. You never know – and like I said – $15 bucks for a t-shirt these days is like a $5 dollar movie ticket.
